Travel Games

Spring break is here for the next several weeks for one school district or another, so I thought it would be a good time to share with you projects that make a road (or train or air) trip more fun for the kids.

The trick that converts an ordinary puzzle or game or paper doll into a good travel project is a magnet. Placing a self-adhesive magnet on the back of any game pieces make it easy to play the game on a game board that sits on a cookie sheet. Tic Tac Toe, checkers, chess – all of these games can also be created for travel. Ditto for paper dolls, and any number of puzzles. Potholes? No problem! Turbulence? No problem!
Enjoy your spring break!
